small request

for those of you who are new to the friends list and may not know... I just wrote a book, and several months ago it was picked up by an agent.

unfortunately, do to the ever worsening economy... publishers are not anxious to take on first time authors.

however, my agent found a publisher whose interested in my book and is in the process of reviewing it for publication! which may be good news!

It's not a done deal yet. Right now they're interested, but they're trying to decide if it is worth the risk in this economy.

So I'm trying to put together a list of names of those who would be interested in reading the book so we can go to the publisher and say... "Look! here's a list of people who are already waiting for this book to be published so they can read it... so you can see this book is worth the risk."

it's a pet/animal genre book. The content I'll keep a surprise until it is published but I will say this...

The reason I write about this here, is because Gackt is mentioned several times. In fact, there is a chapter dedicated to Gackt's (and our) beloved Belle Constantine Chappy.

Some Gackt updates

Surprisingly quiet on the Gackt font.

Unfortunatly - despite my prying using my charm, no one is talking about the vocaloid project.

The only thing I can think of, is that they are in TALKS with Gackt, but since nothing is in writing, they're trying to keep it under wraps. but if I can get one of them to spill the beans, I'll let you know.

I'm still getting angry mail about Joost and his selling of Gackt's music as his own.

He still does not credit Gackt on the CD he's been recently pushing... even though he finally admits they are "Gackt inspired." So much so that he doesn't feel the need to mention Gackt for those who may not know Gackt? A true Gackt fan would use it as an opportunity to turn new fans onto his "idol".

Yes it is true. Gackt does have a new dog. He has long haired white Chihuahua he has named Eneru, who is reportedly 1 year old.

I do know know what the name represents. As it stands from what I've found online, he has not "officially" introduced the J-Rock world to Eneru, thus has not given an explination as to his name.

Someone has told me that he had officially talked about Eneru, but I can not verify the source, nor find the video on youtube where he does so.

But whichever way you look at it...

I've looked Eneru up and I've only found a few references to anime characters named Eneru - most notably from the anime One Peice,

and I found the world Enerugi in my English/Japanese dictionary - which means "Energy".

Save our Dears is a charity Gackt origionally posted to help victims of the major Niigata Prefecture earthquake last year.

In memorium

It is my sad duty to bring this news to the viewers of this fan blog. The Miniature Dachshund Gackt once refered to as his "daughter" has passed away earlier this month, confirmed by the staff blog of Gackt's community page, Gackt-and-dears.com

my thoughts go out to Gackt. I know how hard it is to lose a pet. It can feel as bad as losing a human family or friend. I, myself, lost my 12 year old iguana, Anastasia, to cancer this month. So I understand how he must feel right now.

Again, our thoughts go out to Gackt.

Gackt's pet dog, the miniature dachshund named Bell, has passed away.

For nine whole years, Bell has stood watch at Gackt's side since 1998 when he was in a band.

Occasionally, she would take part in photoshoots and be a very naughty little girl who ran around the studio...but she'd stop as soon as she heard Gackt call out "Bell !!!"

And then, I remember she was soo cute...acting like a baby perched on top of Gackt's lap. From now on, Bell will be watching over the Gackt whom she loved so much from the sky.

Bell, Rest in Peace...
